WONDERS OF THE MONSOONS (2015)

Role: Researcher and logistics manager
A 5 part series on the monsoon phenomenon of Asia and the bounty and destruction they bring along with them.
Helped to develop the story; contacting local fixers; synthesizing factual information about flora, fauna and topography weaned from scientists in Australia and India and collating facts that were transformed into visual sequences in the film; searching ideal locations to shoot the onset of the rains in India.
As part of the same, successfully organized the shooting of a Hindu ritual (Varuna japam) in Mumbai (India), in June 2014 – fixed location, arranged for props, coordinated with religious priests, and worked out all the logistics and pre-shoot work needed for the sequence.
